Hello from Mrs. Deming's group. We have been busy finding the answers to your good questions. The answers are the following:

1. You traveled through 5 states.

2. New Orleans is known for jazz music.

3. The Mississippi connects MN to New Orleans.

4. Katrina and Rita were the 2 hurricanes that devastated the Gulf Coast.

We will get back to you with how many words we can make with "Louisiana".

Please tell us how we did.

We are thinking of you.

Your Friends,
Mrs. Deming's class

One of my students has one question for you already.
How long did it take to drive to New Orleans? Drew guesses it took 16 hours.

Drew, you're pretty close! It took us about 21 hours, but we did stop for a few hours sleep.
